The Skillset TV Freelance Fund
The Skillset TV Freelance Fund is offering Multiplatform Bursaries on a pre-selected range of courses covering key multiplatform skills in the industry.
The BBC Academy courses listed below are included within this range and are available at a subsidised rate to successful applicants.
Introduction to Multiplatform, 1 day*
Shooting for the Web, 1 day*
Project Management for Multiplatform (TV Projects only), 1 day*
*These courses are open to UK freelancers and UK employees subject to eligibility.

Producer Placement ProgramUK-based training body Skillset and production company Magic Light Pictures are pleased to announce the opening of applications for its highly successful Producer Placement Programme. The programme aims to take a group of 5 up and coming feature film producers and progress their careers to the next level through a series of work placements in key areas of the British Film Industry as well workshops and 'audiences' with' industry personalities. There is no charge for the programme and the participant’s receive a salary for their five-month placements.
Applications will close at midday on February 19th 2010.
The programme will run from April 2010 for 5 months.
